About Me

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and maintain a private practice in Glendale and Los Feliz, California. I have over ten years of experience in the field of psychology and have earned my degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, which is accredited by the American Psychological Association. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families.  Currently, I serve as a private practitioner. My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, helping people cope with depression, anxiety, marital and relationship conflict, grief support, infertility, life transitions, self-esteem and other interpersonal issues.

I am a specialist in the field of infertility and reproductive counseling. My focus is on helping individuals and couples cope with the challenges of infertility. This includes individuals or couples undergoing fertility treatments such as IUIs and IVFs, helping families cope with pregnancy loss, or exploring alternative family building options including third party reproduction, surrogacy, adoption, same-sex family building, single parenthood, etc, Trying to start your family can be one of the most difficult, as well as rewarding experiences in your life. With my personal and professional experiences, I'm dedicated to walking with you in your journey every step of the way. I am an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and Resolve , the National Infertility Association.  I am also a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the American Psychological Association .

Prior to the start of my private practice, I had worked at Pacific Clinics for 5 years, a leading non-profit mental health organization. During my tenure as a therapist, supervisor, and training specialist, I have had the privilege of providing mental health treatment to various clients in high risk situations. Additionally, I have gained valuable clinical experience at Verdugo Mental Health and the Psychiatric Institute of the Glendale Adventist Medical Center.  I have also been active in research and presented at the Western Psychological Association.

As an interactive therapist, I believe that the most effective therapy offers a balance of non-judgmental support with concrete tools and direction.  I strive to help people uncover their strengths, while also learning how to adapt and adjust to difficult situations. I aim to help people understand their behaviors and learn healthy ways of coping and living. My therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help my clients effectively address personal life challenges.  I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. This may include a cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, or a mind body approach. Most importantly, I believe that the right therapeutic connection is key to any successful experience.  With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal change and growth they are committed to accomplishing.

I currently reside in Los Angeles with my husband and children. Whether at work or home, I value nothing more than happy and healthy relationships and have therefore chosen to make my career a true extension of myself.  Amongst my friends, colleagues and clients, I am known to be trustworthy, compassionate, positive and supportive, goal directed and practical.  I am respectful of the uniqueness of each client and have an appreciation for different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, genders, and sexual orientations. Helping people in their journey to parenthood  is one of my life's greatest passions.
